BIOGRAPHY
The founder of Integrative Wisdom Path, Dr. B. Raven Lee is a transpersonal-Jungian psychotherapist, meditation instructor, Reiki Master/teacher, and a diplomat in clinical hypnotherapy. She has been integrating Buddhist practices, dream work, and shamanic healing with western psychology and interpersonal neurobiology in her private practice in Pasadena, CA. She also utilizes alternative modalities such as EMDR [Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing], Energy Psychology, Breathwork and meditation in the treatment of trauma, depression, anxiety and mind-body issues.
Born and raised in Hong Kong and educated in Britain and United States, Dr. Lee has been practicing in the mental health field for over thirty years. Integrative Wisdom Path was developed from Dr. Lee’s extensive studies of Tibetan Buddhism, shamanism, hypnotherapy, energy fields, the Jungian archetypal realm, and neurobiology. This new model for healing views crisis and suffering as a potential doorway to spiritual consciousness, which has the power to transform chaos into wisdom.

PHILOSOPHICAL APPROACH
Dr. Lee’s approach to therapy is informed by Jung’s archetypal psychology, Tibetan Buddhism, quantum physics, Energy Psychology and neurobiology, as well as her personal journey of transformation and spiritual awakening. Her approach is holistic, combining scientific and psychological perspectives, with Buddhist views regarding the nature of suffering, and the importance of compassion and spiritual wisdom. These traditions demonstrate that what we think and how we feel shapes our identities, but they are not permanent (in terms of neural plasticity & temporal karmic conditions), and there are concrete ways of transforming our consciousness and relieving us from suffering. The goal of therapy is to become aware of our patterns of reactions, to learn tools to disidentify with our emotions and our stories, and to bring compassion and understanding to the integration of our true self.
