THE WAY OF THE MYSTIC SHAMAN

Shamanism, an ancient healing tradition that is around 50,000 years old, has been revived in the past three decades, and incorporated into modern era. The word ‘shaman’ derives from the adjective samon, used by the Siberian Tungus-Eveki tribe to designate a priest of their religion. It also has been translated as “one who sees in the dark” or “healer”. The shaman, who is deeply connected to the spirits in nature, intercedes on the behalf of humans by traveling to upper, middle and lower worlds for the purpose of healing, to redeem life energy, remove negative forces, and to bring back messages from “the Void”. There are many levels of shamans, ranging from healing of physical and energetic imbalances to the highest realized awareness of the Self or True Nature and the intention to attain enlightenment for the benefit of all beings. The highest level of the mystic shaman represents a bridge between the Creator and all beings. S/he cultivates and experiences divine presence, love and compassion through deep communion, meditation and prayer.

“The Way of the Mystic Shaman” integrates ancient shamanic practices with contemporary visions of holistic body-mind approaches, to create a spiritual path based on Love, Awareness and Grace, and to develop our personal energy and power through self -healing and retrieval of our natural vitality. In order to strengthen themselves as sacred vessels of the highest vibration, participants will learn practices such as Taoist Qi Gong, Hindu-Tantra meditation, Reiki, Kaballistic and Transpersonal therapy. The heart of this program is to deepen communion with God or the Divine through Holy Spirit, Shekinah or Adya-Shakti, which then is manifested into the five Shaktis of earth, water, fire, air and space.

This is an intensive 5-year training program, meeting twice a year for a week-long retreat, with assignments and a weekend gathering in between. Not required as part of the training, but highly recommended, will be special pilgrimages to power places for those who wish to deepen their consciousness. The first two years will be open to all participants, who will also be certified as Reiki practitioners. After that, it becomes a closed group, requiring a commitment for the next three years. At the end of the five years, participants will also receive certification as Reiki masters
